VFW Post 2182 & Ladies Aux

Memorial Day is only 2 months away.  We have wood and paint and nails to make new crosses.  We need to replace some of our old ones and we have to put out new ones.  If you could help out with this let the post know so we can schedule a time to make the crosses.  Also on Fri May 25 we will be setting crosses out at the cemeteries outside of town.  If you could help, it would be greatly appreciated.  We are also going ot have ceremonies on Memorial Day at Memory Gardens, Greenlawn, and at the ...

Memorial Day is just a couple of months away. VFW Post 2182 will be handing out Buddy Poppies on May 26 & 27 at Smith's on 20th in Farmington and at Safeway on Main in Farmington.  We will also de handing them out on Sat May 26 at Walmart in Farmington and on Sun May 27 at Sam's.  Sign-upheets are at the post.  Please sign up if you have a chance to help out.

We have new and updated stats for March:

VFW post 2182 now has 273 members out of a total of 285 from last year.  We are at 95.79%.  Only 12 more for 100%for year.  Keep up the good work.

VFW post 2182 Ladies Aux is doing great this year. They have 120 members, up 6 from last year.  And they are at 105.26%  Keep up the great work Ladies.

The new stats for VFW post 2182 are 95.09 % with 273 members.  Thanks to everyone that has recruited people and new members.  But we are not yet at our goal of 100% for the year.  It would be great if we could be there by March.  Keep up the good work everyone.

As of 23 Jan the membership stats of the post are VFW post 2182         266 members with a 93.3%.

We are looking for men that are interested in staring up a men's aux.  You must not be eligible for the VFW but be a brother, father, son, grandson, grandfather of someone who is eligble.  We need 20 men to start post.  We have 10 already saying they would be interested.

The mid winter conferance will be in Abq on Feb 17-18.  Regitration must be in by Feb 3 for all who plan to attend.  This is a great way for members to see what the VFW is about.
