VFW Post 2182 & Ladies Aux

Sat Oct 30th kids party was great.  We had 20 kids.  We had pumkin walks, then they painted the pumpkins they won, decorated their own cupcakes, coloring pages to color.  Certificates were given out for 1st and 2nd in best costume,  and 1st in best pumpkin. All attendees had fun.  They all look forward to Christmas party and next years Halloween party.  Thanks to everyone who donated a cake and the Ladies Aux for  donating the pumpkins and organizing this event.  Thanks to all that came to at...

The clean-up on Sunday was great.  We had about 20 people show up to help.  We got the Bingo floor done, the gutters cleaned, and lights fixed.  The ribs and sausage were a great success, thank you Kathy.  Thanks to everyone for coming and helping.

Dance at post last night.  We had a good turnout for the dance with Art Chapman as our musician.  Everything was played from Rock to Country to Jazz.  We have pictures up on the Fun page, check them out.  Thank you for coming out and enjoying yourselves.  We will be having Art back in Jan after the holidays. 

 

Membership.  We are close to our goal.  We only need 25 more to be at 100% membership.  If you know of any veteran that is eligible but not a member, talk to them about if they want to join.  Explain to them what the benefits are, and what we do for veterans.  If you know someone who is a yearly member and they have not renewed for this year, explain to them that they need to pay their dues as soon as possible.  Thanks for your help in this area.
